The Toussaint Louverture Cultural Center of Massachusetts will host a Twoubadou & Book Festival on Sunday, Sept. 13, celebrating Haitian music, literature, food and culture.
The event will run from 4 to 8 p.m. at 131 Beverly St. in Boston and will feature live Twoubadou music, books and authors, food, vendors and other family-friendly activities. The Haitian musical group Bingo is scheduled to perform.
Organizers say the festival is intended to bring together the region’s Haitian community while introducing visitors to Haitian stories, traditions and music.
Admission is $15 per person and advance registration is required.
